SUNDAYS #1 vs. TEAM MICRO:

Our game on Sunday vs. Team Micro wasn't our best outing as we lost 9-2. Although we owned the 2nd period, we were outgunned (and i suppose our goalie was pre-occupied with thinking someone would walk off with the league
$$ in his bag). We were missing some key men from our lineup — absent were Russ, Tim and newcomer-defenseman Rob.

1) ED SOUTHWORTH
Scoring our first goal — and a pretty goal at that — as he raced up ice holding off a defenseman and faking-out their goalie.

2) GLENN FARKAS
The “Garbageman” returned as he scored our 2nd goal by doing what he does best — standing in front and putting away the trash.

3) ROGER WEISS
For outstanding 2-way play throughout the game. roger made huge plays on defense and seemed to have endless energy. (also, after the game, he retrieved our puck from the netting over the soccer field that we lost during the warmup!).
