Even with a shortened bench (the Stars had only one sub for most of the
game), they seemed to be setting up in our zone consistently.
We got out of the 1st period down only 1-0, but the 2nd period was our downfall
as they added 3 more goals.
Kevin ended our drought during the 3rd period, after he threw a puck on
net from their goal line that was accidentally deflected in by their own
defenseman. The Stars (who Chris, the ref, said were Wednesday Champs last
season) added another on a powerplay late in the 3rd.

For playing hurt and then going toe-to-toe with their biggest guy with 2:00
minutes left and not backing down, and not getting suckered into fighting.
