(vol.
13S, no. 5; newsletter by c.g.)
So Wednesday is Sunday, or was it Monday, or whatever. Thanks to Keith's
guest appearance of writing the Wednesday Newsletter, I'm not even sure
which day is which. Add to that the fact that it is Thursday morning, and
we haven't played hockey since Monday and won't again 'til Sunday, and you
can see how messed-up everything seems.
So here I am left to write a newsletter for Sunday's game not this
past Sunday mind you but the previous one. So why wasn't that newsletter
written in a timely fashion, thereby avoiding this mess in the first place?
Well, because I went away for a week, which only adds to the problem. See
as most of you have observed by now, my short term memory can only handle
so many things before it starts blending them together. So I am not sure
of who did what in a game after awhile. Yes, most of you probably would
not have this problem, but hey I fractured my skull when I was five, so
at least I have an excuse.
So what happened? What you really need to know is this: We scored 4 goals
and Jimmy Ferraro was involved in every one of them (with a goal and three
assists). Glenn Farkas scored two goals and continued his fine play.
Unfortunately they also scored four goals, so the game was a tie. According
to the stats which Harris sent my way we initially had the lead, but needed
to come back from a 4-3 deficit late in the 3rd. Unfortunately, your guess
is as good as mine as to how well everyone played.

THE
SILVER
SKULLS
1) JIMMY
FERRARO
A 4-point outing for Jimmy (one more and he would've made the the Legends
page again!)
2)
GLENN FARKAS
Two goals for the Glenn-man!
3)
CHRIS GOIONE
Although he probably doesn't remember, he scored the first goal for us.
