The Winter Season II for the Coastal Pirates began
this past Sunday — and it did not begin well. You know that when the
typically mild-mannered captain of the team, Russ Nicolosi, smashes his
stick over the crossbar, it has not been a good night.
About the only thing that went right for the Pirates was that Russ did not
have to serve the entire penalty — and that was only because there
was less than 5:00 minutes remaining in the game when Russ was issued the
10:00 minute misconduct penalty.
