2W, no. 3; newsletter by h.s.)
We pressured consistently during the first period, but couldn't get anything
to show for it and we went into the first break at a 0-0 gridlock.
In the 2nd, Scott Miller finally broke the ice by tallying his first of
the season on a quick release through a fake/screen provided by Wildman.
We carried that 1-goal lead all the way into the 3rd, when Brian Newcomb
lofted a high shot near post to give us an insurance goal. We survived a
couple of late scares and I'm pleased to say that I'm the only goalie in
history to ever have a 12-0 rout backed-up by a 2-0 shutout.
