Again we had the “bare minimum” of scoring needed to win a game.
The first came off a Scooby breakaway effort when Glenn “Trashman”
Farkas was able to flip a rebound over a sprawling John Arena.
We carried that 1-0 lead all the way into the 3rd when Wildman (playing
injured from Saturday's game) bounced a change-up through the pads of Arena
for a 2-0 lead. We lost our insurance goal a minute later though, but extraordinary
defensive efforts by Russ, Roger and Dan nullified any chances at a tying
goal by the Rage.
