Ok, it was 1-1 after the 1st. Even though they scored their only goal shorthanded,
it was still a moral victory at the break (our goal came unassisted from
Dave Matthews at about the 6:30 mark -- I have no idea how it went in, and
I don't think the Micro goalie did either).
The 2nd period featured two more Micro goals, but a 3-1 score was still
a damn close game (the action was free-flowing from end-to-end).
Then, the 3rd period came. The dreaded 3rd period. By the time the whistle
blew, the Micro had added four more. On the upside, we scored again (Farkas
from Matthews) and managed to kill off a bunch of penalties. Still, not
our finest hour.
