Yet another fine day for hockey ...
Playing the Jags is always fun. Sometimes clean, sometimes not so clean. Though their record may not always show it, they have improved greatly. We had the usual suspects at the game — you all know who you are. We started out very slow, scoring only once in the 1st frame (Brooks assist to Russ).
The final period, however, had much more life to it as we lit the lamp five times in those final 22:00 minutes: Brooks (assist Tony), Brooks (assist Russ), Tim (assist Tony), Dan DiPierro (assist LeMatty), and the-always-subbing Joe Baio (assist Dan DiPierro). Harris was still on injured reserve for this one and Mike Griffiths filled-in with a solid effort. The funny part of this game was one Pirate — who shall remain nameless — thought the final score was 5-3 thus resulting in a temporary typo on our web site. The only thing we'd ask is that if you play in the game, try and keep track of the score for Pete's sake. (For that person, and you know who you are, it's all in good fun ... and at least they remembered we won.)
