Well it was close for a while ...
But then the second period rolled around and the wheels fell off, so to speak.
Fortunately it was not Pirate wheels that were coming off, but those of the Hurt ...
Pucks seemed to be flying in all over the place as Marty scored the hat, and some other people got goals (but I can't remember and I lost the email with the stats).
LeMatty had the best check of the night. Now I remember why he didn't seem me going for the puck — he is blind in one eye!
And pardon the pun, but the Pirates put a hurtin' on the Hurt as the game ended mercifully with around 3:40 to go.
