editor's note: The Cap'n writes while taking the Path train ...
Dissapointing result to an excellent effort against the Cannibals. A two goal effort from Tim and another by John was not enough to hold off Rockhill and crew despite the gallant efforts of our substitute goalkeeper.
Aided by two late powerplays, the Cannibals scored the tying and go-ahead goals while having the extra skater.
Excellent efforts of note were obviously to Tim and John, but also to Brian for actually showing up for a game unlike his offspring and Glenn Farkas for great hustle. We did score promptly on a 5-on-3 after we used our timeout and prepared for the onslaught.
Given the rain and Harris' absence, no meeting was held and that was just as well as the pressure to stay and socialize is causing Brian to interfere with marital bliss.
Oh well ... we get to try again this evening as the Wednesday league team plays on Monday (again).
