We lost ... badly.
Highlights: The Pirates holding the Bulldogs scoreless for the first 10:00-minutes and then only surrendering a powerplay goal until deep in the period. And, of course, Rud finishing a 2-on-0 with a backhanded beauty to make it 3-1 early in the final period.
Lowlights: Their two shorthanded goals. And, of course, being mercied.
As Joe Baio said eloquently during his post-game interview: “Just a bad night.”
