(vol.
41W, no. 3; newsletter by h.s.)
The Pirates "Finlanded" the St. Pats and got back in their winning ways on Wednesday. (Since this newsletter is coming to you well after the Olympics are over, I should explain that “Finlanded” was my verb showing that we handled our opponents in similar fashion to what the Americans did in the Olympic Semifinals.)
Highlights of this outing included a hattrick by Kevin, er, wait ... Scott Miller since he did (upon review) tip in the game's second goal on a McLaughlin slapper. Lowlights of the game were a Bobby Currao point shot that spoiled the shutout bid (in the 1st period).

PIRATES GONE WILD!
MARDI GRAS RECAP
Weeks later facts were still surfacing from Miller's 2010 Mardi Gras. Kevin, who brought his slushy machine so Scott could make frozen Hurricanes, didn't leave until 4:30 a.m. — and he wasn't even the last one! (Click thumbnails above to enlarge — see if you can find Kevin.)
