editor's note: Gucci got injured and Kevin purportedly threw his stick and a penalty shot was awarded to the Cannibals. In other words, just another typical night at the rink with the Men In Black. Bill Barnett was in-between the pipes for the Pirates on this outing and he was kind enough to text a special edition of the newsletter that we call the “View from the Crease.”
The other team was relentless but we stayed with them. First goal squeaked in and I should have had it, but the rest came from a lot of tough play. It was close at the end and then there was a penalty shot and I wasn't able to stop it, but I was good against a few regular breakaways. It was a fun game and we were within striking distance for most of it.
