The Lunch Ladies showed up with some new purveyors of slop and slogged through a victory with their new untenured faculty. The goalkeepers put on quite a show as arena an 88 were playing the Grinch stealing goals right out of the hands of wide-eyed players. LeMatty hustled his way to two goals and Ralz added one off a rebound.
The growing sub-plot of stick-swinging and words with Rizzo in three consecutive games will be interesting to watch going forward. Understandable frustration perhaps given last Wednesdays result?
Result aside, it was a fun game.
