There's not a whole lot to say about this week's Semifinal playoff game. The Coastal Pirates finished in 7th place and drew none other than the O'Neills that finished just above them in 6th. Usually the O'Neills are an “A”-division team, but that did not discourage the Pirates because they were able to pullout a victory against the same team just a few weeks earlier.

The game marked the return of Scotty Miller who was recovered from a separated shoulder. Besides Scotty, the Pirates had a full roster on the floor with Evan, Jimmy, #67, Wildman, Chris and Farkas on “O” while on “D” the lines consisted of Chambers, Russ, Richardson and Roger. Substituting for Harris was the goalie Steve from Team Micro who had just foiled a Pirates Sunday League Championship bid a few days earlier.

The 1st period saw the O'Neills jump out to a 1-0 lead. They would carry that lead all the way into the 3rd when they would add an insurance goal to make it 2-0. And that is how it ended.
