A spirited battle between the Jags and the Pirates resulted in a 7-2 victory by the Men In Black this past Sunday. It was a night where the art of the pass was on full display. The early goals were scored in more of a workman like fashion, but the late goals were things of beauty. The puck was moving quicker than the beleaguered Jags could possibly respond to and it resulted in a hattrick for Tony and two goals for Tim. Although those guys played great, it was a night that everyone got involved and they were the happy recipients of slick passes.
Two highlight goals are etched in my mind: The first was by Glenn Farkas off a nearly blind pass from Tim after entering the Jags zone and breaking to the right; And the second was the final goal of the game that looked like a replay of the gorgeous goal scored last week by Kev, only this time Mike slipped Tony a pass and broke to the net and then Tony fed him with a flat pass to the tape which was then quickly deposited behind the keeper.

The Pirates are playing very nice as a team of late.
