WEDNESDAYS #3 vs. JAGUARS:

(vol. 40W, no. 3; newsletter b.n.)
There is nothing worse than being two weeks behind on the newsletter .... Well there probably is .... Like standing in the AT&T store waiting for service. This is crazy. Where did all these people come from? Haven't they heard off the freakin internet? Anyway I guess now is a great time to catch up on the newsletters ... I will start with last week.

Gucci “asked” me if he could play defense. Like i am going to say no? Of course not ... But maybe I should have spoke up when the defensive pairing came out: #67 and Matthews. Maybe not the greatest idea. Meanwhile Joe Baio was paired with Mike. And Meanwhile Gucci debuted at right wing with Wildman and LeMatty. Rich also returned as a sub on a line with Kenny and Miller.

And that is kind of how things went ... First goal scored against the Pirates: #67 and Matthews were on the floor. Second goal against the Pirates: #67 and Matthews were on the floor. And the third? You guessed it. –3 for the night. Oh well, guess we won't be doing that again soon.

Unfortunately the Pirates could not muster enough offense to overcome it.

I am still standing in the AT&T store by the way. This is freakin' unreal. They have a sign-in sheet and everything. Maybe I should start on the next newsletter ... Well I would but I don't have those stats on me. Not that I ever use the stats.

I think I might go to Scott Miller's Mardi Gras party this year. But don't quote me on this.

29 minutes and counting ... Wow that is worse than the epic shifts that Farrell takes. I think I am going to go out of my mind! Did I mention that Russ was a scratch? I am uncertain why. And Wildman is going to Paris ... or was it Texas? Perhaps it was Indiana.

Still waiting by the way ... spending some real quality time with #32. I am now thinking of switching to Verizon. Aaaaaahhhhhh!

The goalie on the other team was pretty good. If he ever quits his day job there is a spot for him at the AT&T store in Ocean Twp. Could be getting close ...

OUT OF RETIREMENT

After a self-imposed 700-game absence, Bob “Bobby” Currao donned the stripes to referee our game. Fellow Zebra Scott Baldwin said this historic occasion drawfed the Tiger Woods story and “better get a damn mention on the Pirate website!”
