SUNDAYS #4 vs. JAGUARS:

(vol. 44S, no. 4; newsletter by r.n.)
editor's note: Another Capn's eye view of the game ....
Joe Nigro tallies first career Pirate hattrick as the Pirates shutout Jags!

Wildman scored :39 seconds into the game and was the harbinger for what became a very lopsided victory. The Jags showed a lot of tenacity in the 1st period as the Pirates came in waves, but only tallied twice more in the first stanza. Joe Nigro then scored a natural hat trick in style by getting his second tally while the club was short-handed. Other notable highlights were Rud’s stylish wrapper and Harris’ flawless goaltending (his 60th career shutout).

The mysterious absence of #67 was still a mystery Monday evening as #99 tried to reach him by cell to no avail. Perhaps he hit the lottery and skipped town or he was negotiating a new contract for David with the Devils while watching them whip The Bolts. As I see it, he could only help ...

Nice win.
